You should be clear on the question of incall versus outcall...

The type of meeting you describe where a client goes to the providers hotel room is an incall situation, that is, she has a place (normally a hotel room but it could also be an apartment that she rents just for the buisness or even [rarely] her own apartment) that you go to.  In that case, you do not pay for the room.

If, however, she is expecting an outcall date, then she would go to your hotel (or home, though that is not recommended for obvious reasons) and you foot the bill for the room.

It is always important to be clear on this point because otherwise you could have some embarrassment.  In some cases a provider's rates will be different depending on whether it be outcall or incall, so that is another reason to be clear on the question.

Some providers only do one or the other and others will do both.  Read her site carefully first to see if the question is answered definatively there, otherwise you should contact her (if it's not too late.)

Ok, so tonight will be my first time! YIKE'S! I'm sooo nervous!!! I think the plan is I'm going to a hotel where she will be and I'm guessing the 2 call setup. My question is, I assume if I'm meeting her at a hotel that she has paid, or will pay for the hotel out of her pocket and that is her responsibility and all I need to worry about is the donation?

Slow down a bit, don't get too nervous or you will spend your whole visit trying to calm down. Assuming you have done your homework and are calling a reputable provider and you requested an incall, then of course she should already have the room and be there waiting for you when you arrive. Your only responsibility is the donation.
Again, relax and have fun!! Come back tomorrow and tell us about it!

Mr. Nervous, your post really hit home.  I was once exactly where you are/were: ready for my first time and nervous as hell.  My advice is to do something that calms you down before you go to the appointment: be it a walk in the park, a quick workout, watching TV, or browsing TER.  Just don't eat anything that gives you bad breath.

As for your hotel question, paying for the room is usually the provider's responsibility, not yours.  The provider pays for the room herself or the agency pays for her; you only bring in the donation.  One agency operator, after I told her it was my first time using a service, actually explained this to me.

So now that you have all the information, relax, go to your appointment, and may the Force be with you.  Don't forget to share your experience.

And if the first time doesn't go smoothly,
don't give up.

Remember, practice...practice...practice

Really try to relax. I had a great time but took me forever to finish. Tell them it's your first time, I think they'll most likely be very nice to you if you do. Have fun!

relax!!!  Take a deep breath!!!

Here's a basic rule of thumb, he, or she, who books and checks into the hotel room, pays for the room.

Have a geat time!

Well, consider my hobbyist cherry popped! It went great! I met a well reviewed provider in her hotel room. She set me at ease quickly. As strange at it may sound the one hour seemed like it was just 10 minutes! It went by sooo quickly! Thanks for all the support guys! I'm already browsing this morning for another provider to have fun with!
