You're aware of the recent accidental confession of an Atlanta provider to a self-review.  I agree 100% that this is strictly taboo and cannot be tolerated, even from providers with as good a track record as Tina.  In the course of replying to a post in the thread in question, I had a thought.  Why not implement some sort of first offenders program whereby you just delete a provider's profile or reviews for a first offense of this type?  Or maybe even a temporary banishment of 3 to 6 months.  It seems like such a shame to lose a good provider permanently for an error in judgment.  Self-reviews are so common on other boards that many providers coming here for the first time just assume it's the same way on this site.  Those with truly malicious intent will undoubtedly make a second mistake.
