Why are providers talking to hobbyist clients about other hobbyist clients?????????While it's been a couple of years since I've hobbied in Minneapolis, I'm in town on biz and am looking for some intimate entertainment. Over the course of six hours I reached out to a number of ladies that I found on TER searches or had ads running on TER.
Only two have gotten back to me and in both cases, they said they were available. I provided several verification options including my TER handle (have a dozen White Listings and over 50 reviews spanning four years), my Indys handle, P411 and an agency that I frequent. In both cases, they went silent.
I've got good references, I'm a nice guy, I never haggle, I'm decent looking and when asked, I write nice reviews.
Would like to find out what is scaring these lovely ladies away.
I have no problem seeing anyone i like. Check out my reviews, all 4,5,6,7 and I'm raw with regards to my opinions. I tell it like it is, save many TER guys tons of $$ from being wasted on 4,5,6 looks.

Talon's claim that he "has no problem seeing anyone he likes" rings as hollow as many of the political claims I've been hearing recently. Looking at his reviews, the truth seems to be that Talon has no problem seeing lots of ladies who are not worthy of repeat visits.
And Talon's boast about his low scores and raw opinions does not hold up to scrutiny either -- it's a safe bet that most of the ladies that Talon sees neither know of, nor care about, his reviews, or TER, for that matter. And any of us familiar with the MN board also know that most of the ladies who are aware of his reviews and board comments will have nothing to do with him.
"Be more like Talon"? Umm, thanks for the suggestion but my hobbying goes quite well, thank you very much, and so I am not in the market for hobby advice. But for anyone who is, my 2 cents is that being less like Talon is a better strategy.
Your experiences are typically mediocre or worse. Mine are a lot better. I'll stick with my way of doing things.
Think it's more low key here, not like vegas perhaps. Doubt it's you exactly.. It's getting to be summer and people are just away, and out. I'm sure too you're just having bit of bad luck. All the best!

I've seen the term "time waster" and am interested in what it encompasses. I can guess at one meaning, someone who engages in a lot of preparatory email exchanges and then never does book.

It can have a multitude of meanings. According to the ladies I've spoken with, the op fits the exact reasoning you stated.
I did a P411 pre-check on a few, but they never responded. I also then read they tend to think it is a waste of time. So I stopped doing that -- but also crossed the non-responders off my list. Now I don't contact anybody unless I am booking a specific date (often giving them the option to pick a better date.
People, take the damn ((E)) off of your subject line if you're actually typing a message.

That's neither here nor there, ie: using the alias. I have first hand knowledge of the op contacting providers with out dated references, trying to use an expired p411 account (which by the way cannot be found), playing email tag, delaying setting an exact time, then finally not booking. He is the perfect example of a time waster and I would add game player.
Providers should talk to each other about potential clients that are timewasters, wasting time, and using expired P411, but that is part of staying safe. Hobbyists should not be privy to info about other hobbyists, unless they share it with each other.
If you are a hobbyist and providers talk to you about another hobbyist, then it would be safe to assume they are talking about you to other hobbyists as well
You must remember that many of the ladies have lives that they live and do not hang on their computers 24/7 waiting for clients. Give them a few days and if you have reliable references or information they require I'm sure all will turn out all right for you. Patience is a required in this hobby. Have fun!
Seeing up an appointment by email on the same day is tough. You just have to keep trying.

I'm not new at this and have always treated the ladies with respect.
I have:
-45 reviews on TER, most are 7, 8 & 9s since I prefer quality ladies.
-12 White Listings on TER
-Am a member of RS2k
-Had 30 OKs on P411, but as I mentioned, have let my membership lapse so was unsure if the ladies could still see my profile
-Offered a reference from a well established and respected agency in Chicago
-Offered a reference from an independent provider that I saw recently
Since I was in town for several days and had some flexibility, I didn't specify particular times/dates to try and be accommodating of the ladies' schedule. Could have met anytime over 3 days.
I only spoke with one provider and when I asked if she was still offering the special she advertised, she was uncomfortable in answering. Not wanting to make her uncomfortable, I told her I'd look elsewhere since I wasn't comfortable going into something without knowing what she'd need. Please note I did not speak in specific dollars.
Thank you to those of you who provided some suggestions. And am disappointed that some of you felt it necessary to get nasty.
