Same thing happened to me. She 'quickly forgot' about my helping her and 'thought' it was a 'gift'.......and is now pissed at me because I asked for services rather than the $ . It's a cluster. Thought I'd reach out ..be the good guy......and yes...........got took.

I'd seen the her 6-7 times. I thought I knew her. Thought she could be trusted to her word. I was naive, obviously. The bad news; helped her & lost $$$. The good news; only lost $$$.
