last night I called " A provider". A man answered the phone and asked if I was looking for Alexa. I almost hung up, I don't like dealing with Pimps. However, I said yes. He then told me that my phone number was now recorded with the police and the attorney general. he also started to give me some statistics about the"sex trade".
My question, does this mean anything. I know that this is not enough "evidence" for the police to came after me. However, what can they do.
I suppose this is one more reason I should use a burner phone for the hobby

Let us assume just for the sake of argument that this fool/s actually does pass along your number to LE, and any other information he is able to glean from other guys calling this ad. Most likely LE are going to tell him the exact same thing that I would tell him if I ever were to end up calling that number.
They would almost certainly tell him to FUCK OFF!!! if LE wanted to compile a useless list of anonymous phone numbers of johns, they are more than capable of doing it themselves. You have nothing to worry about from LE in re to this, the worst thing that MIGHT happen is this dickwad or one of his friends could call your burner phone in some lame attempt to scare you.
To answer your question, the chances of this actually being LE are about zero. If LE wanted to "get you" they would have lured you into a sting where they could legally arrest and prosecute you.
and yes, with a burner phone you have nothing to worry about. By "worry about" I mean harassing phone call by some bible thumping moron on a mission, not LE. Even LE has better things to do with their time.
Use one of those internet services that can spoof your caller id, and then call the guy back. Put in the caller id of a prominent judge, sheriff, attorney general, or police chief.
Then call the guy back and say "hey baby, I am so horny I could fuck a goat. How about I give you two lines of coke and $50, and you send Alexa right out to my van, I will show her how daddy likes it! Yee Haw!"
Then when the guy tells you that he has your phone number and he is reporting it to the police, he can report your favorite local judge's phone number to the police. Then you will have done your good deed for the day.
Undoubtably some Holier than thou bunch. I hope you were using a hobby phone so they can't resarch you from the number.
Or-a boyfriend/husband who figured out what his gal is doing to earn some Xmas Cash and took over her phone !!!
