Remember ....

Hey great post shows how times have changed also shows how things remain the same. One thing is different this town certainly doesn't have the level of investigation journalism that it use to now they report it and read it of the teleprompter but don't actually dig up stories like that.Dave Moore was a great newsman Sat night bedtime news was always a classic.

Thank's TCG for bringing those clips to the discussion board, while the 1975 Moore on Sunday clip was a bit before my time I did make a number of trips to Cosmo during the eighties & that was always a good time.

So long ago, in a place far far away, a young man had loads of fun...leading up to now lol.

Thanks for this!  I still remember watching Dave Moore do the Bedtime Nooz.  I think it was late on Fridays.  Lots of really funny stuff.

Boy did you just show your age. I thought I was the only one to remember him. Actually, I can even go back to Cedric Adams.

between the time I spent at Caesar and 24 Karat, I'm would not be surprised if I was not filmed. no one approached me at anytime day or night, I didn't have a clue they were being watched that closely.      mbs

Very good historical information. The Dave Moore story is before my time, but I remember reading a transcript of it online years ago. Interesting to see the actual broadcast story. The Becky Rand story was great as well. Whenever I drive down that stretch of Arcade Street in St. Paul, I still look at that building and think of The Cosmopolitan and the visits I had there.
