It's supposed to set a ceiling on the possible score

Not mean the reviewer has to give her that score.  Yes, I've read more than a few reviews where there seemed to be a real disconnect between the performance score and the description in the review but I really don't think we would want TER increasing the scores we give.

I recently had a review refused as the provider did not do all the requirements of a 10 performance according to TER.  I have read other reviews where 10's were given and the menus of the ladies stated refusal of those requirements.  Just curious on exactly how these judgements are made in regards to ratings.  Some providers seem to have no problem getting highest marks while others get denied despite both performances the same.  Just wondering, not want to make waves.

flamers put both hands in your back pockets for a minute...the 10/10 rating is the urban legend.  As it should be with regards to supporting with a "REAL" narrative.  The rest of the rating policy is subject to YMMV.  Some get through some get flagged and required to adjust to the TER rating scale.  The ratings are such a fun random pile of debate fodder it's awesome...

And as long as I have been on here they have never been consistent.  I suspect it depends a lot on who reviews the review.

I believe it depends on who reads and approves the review, who the reviewer is, and who the provider is.  But suggest not sweating the fine details of imperfect number systems.

...with you that could earn her an extra point or two, she just has to offer them. However, in my experience, even tho she offers extra services and no one has submitted a review substantiating those services, TER will ask you to resubmit your review with a score that reflects the services she actually performed for you. If she already has reviews that describe those extra services that could warrant a 10/performance and you submit a review in which you didn't actually receive those services but they were offered (hint, in your review you need to state that you discussed those extra services) then TER may, or may not, grant her that 10/performance that she deserves. It's inconsistent at best.

But, it doesn't work both ways. I've read many reviews in which a fella received more than qualifying services for a 10, i.e. she kissed with tongue, gave a BBBJ, was really bi and had sex in public with 10 other women and let him fuck her in the butt, you know, the kinda stuff that only happens in your wildest porno videos and should warrant a rating of at least 12 on a scale of 1 to 10, yet the hobbyist only rates her as an 8/performance. TER doesn't automatically bump up her score up to a 10 for reasons unknown. That ain't right.  :(

Has a lot to do with it, too. If that review said she did not offer DFK, BBBJ/CIM, anal, etc., whatever the options that get the points, then TER is often a little anal retentive about it and won't let you grade her higher even if you got those services. What I've often been told is that the provider has to come along and change her profile saying she offers these services and then TER will allow higher scores.

So if HJ Henry is the first to submit a review for a provider, it does not matter what BJ Bob or Anal Andy or DFK Dick submit in their reviews.

You are correct sir!  Gotta love the Admins but yes they can be a bit of a challenge to work with.  I still love 'em :)

Then evidently there must be a lot of BBFS ladies out there:-/

Because the rules clearly allow a 10 without offering BBFS; BBFS isn't even mentioned.

Just an observation, I think that is the point that TCG is making ? in that he has linked to some reviews, where a 10 rating has been allowed, Yet, as you remarked, There was no mention of bbfs.
Which lends to the idea of inconsistency in the review process, and whom makes the interpretation
and then approves the review with a higher than should be allowed score.
( I cannot read the juicy details, so I am going off guessing with regard to the reviews )

but enforced on a case by case basis.  In order to get a 10 all you have to do is french kiss, bbbj, open to MFF sessions, and greek.  What I don't agree with is the "offer" clause.  According to the guideline a provider can offer but not perform said "extra" services and still be eligible for the extra scores.  There should be a requirement that the details of the session include those extra offerings in order to score above 7 if you ask this guy.  My opinion.  I don't personally care about the performance score.  I get more than enough info from reading and reading between the lines on the narrative.  The looks scoring is purely subjective so that also needs to be viewed with an overall review of a provider's review history.

HOW DOES THE REVIEW RATING SYSTEM WORK?
Your reviews should be as honest and objective as possible since a TER staff member will verify them. Even so, actual experiences still vary due to the simple fact that everyone has their own opinion. A lady’s performance may also vary from client to client, or from one encounter to the next, so please try to be fair. Please use the rating system below to express your thoughts on and experiences with each provider. Tell us how the provider measured up to your expectations. Also, save the 8 and 9 appearance ratings for ultra-special ladies. The 10 rating should be reserved for a provider who just lived up to your most powerful fantasy.

To rate the provider’s appearance and performance, please use the following:
  RATING LOOKS
10 She was a one in a million.
9 She was model material.
8 She was really hot.
7 She was attractive.
6 She was nice looking.
5 She was plain looking
4 OK, If you are drunk
3 She was fairly homely.
2 She was simply ugly.
1 I was really scared.

  RATING PERFORMANCE
10 It was a one in a million.
9 I forgot it was a service.
8 She went the extra mile.
7 It was really hot
6 It was a nice time.
5 Average
4 She just laid there.
3 It was barely worth the effort.
2 I should have stayed home.
1 A total rip-off.

For performance ratings, it is asked that you please save the 8, 9, and 10 ranks for situations where out of the ordinary services are provided (i.e. Blow Job - without condom, Kissing - with tongue, Anal - Yes, and Really Bi - Yes, More than One Guy - Yes). Of course, the 10 rating should be reserved for an experience that is really worth a million!

An escort provider is only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she is willing to perform one or some of the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, and Anal Sex. For each of these services that are offered, her potential max score is raised by one point, with 10 as an absolute maximum.

This does not mean she earns extra points for offering these service(s); just that she is now eligible for a higher score. Her maximum eligible score is based on what is offered, not what is performed during your session with her. You may or may not be interested in the “extra” services she offers, but the fact she offers them makes her eligible for the higher score.

If your review rates a provider higher than her maximum score, the score will be adjusted down to her maximum.

The rest of the review is fairly simple to fill out. If you have any questions, ask a Review Question and we will respond.
