Yes, I guess it was but, with some luck it might get some hot ladies to PM me and relocate to where I live.

Just shoveled 15 inches of snow.  The northeast snow storm is about 2/3s over and I decided to tackle the driveway during a lull. Hope my shoulders and back recover before my date on Tuesday. Hope the girl, who is visiting, gets through.
Any tales of how snow has affected you hobbying? Here's mine. I was in Maine in February a few years ago and made an incall appointment with a girl. It snowed the night before and her place was in a rural area. The driveway hadn't been cleared and when I was leaving after the date I got stuck in a snow bank. She came out with a shovel to help me get free. Maybe she should add that service to her menu!

Likely to find a few frigid women during this kind of weather event.

Snow???? It was 79 today where I live. Eat your heart out,

That's just mean cooper!  But I must digress it was 70 in San Diego today.
I do LOVE Chicago though, was there one winter and made naked snow angels with a "friend"
Keep warm everyone...put those muffs on!  :-)

it was snowing but I had to be out anyway so kept on.  She was surprise when I called for the room number.  She had figured I'd no show & had made family plans & was about to bail.  I offered to cancel but we went ahead.

I think the worst was (years ago) me going to see a (civie) gal in a snow storm.  I made a wrong turn & had to turn around on a narrow road.  I got stuck in an unplowed driveway.  I wasn't really dressed for it but I ended up jacking the car up & putting the tire chains on.  I got back on the plowed road & dropped the chains back off & threw them into the trunk.  (I always made a point of straightening the chains out in the garage so they went on right the next time.)  In those days before cell phones...  it was self rescue or a long d*mn walk.
That big block Dodge was fast...  but sucked in the snow.  Eventually I learned to load 200# of sand bags in the trunk for the winter.

snow and the hobby will mix, and usually not all that well.  I've had some harrowing drives in the snow that had me asking myself:  What was I thinking?

But sometimes good fortune comes about.  I got snowed in at one gal's incall, and she let me stay the night for a mere pittance extra.  We had a wonderful time

Once I drove through a cold rain to visit a lady in her incall.  We had a good time, and after we put our clothes back on, and I was heading for the door, she uttered an exploitive, and called me to the window.  The weathermen had missed it. Temperature had dropped, and the world was encased in ice.  We spent the night together talking then sleeping.  We've been friends ever since.

A couple of weeks though, I drove three hours in ICE to get to an appointment that should have been 45 minutes away. We got 6 inches of ice that day, it was retched. I am glad that I made the effort...it was a very good night indeed!

I have to say that I am so happy that this is my last winter in Chicago. Starting this fall, I get the best of both worlds....6 months in Chicago, six months in Florida!
