another but better

What are some songs/types of music you enjoy hearing in your sessions?

If I may make some suggestions of music I think would really fit or just be cool give these a try:

IAMDYNAMITE - "Wasa Tusa" (album) - slow easy rock music with sweet sweet melodies

Charlie Winston - "Satisfied" (song) - it could be an anthem *ahem*

Massive Attack - "Mezzanine" (album) - late 90's electronica. Sexy. One provider even had a track off of it once upon a time. She ruled!

Celldweller - "Memories of a Girl I Haven't Met" (song) - Maybe not in a session but this is an awesome song you should listen to.

Celldweller - "Heart On" (song) - It's a comical word play jam. Elements of electronica/edm/rock.

Whatchu got?!

King Missle, "Detachable Penis"

What I got is a whole lot of moaning from the ladies that drowns out any music:-)

Or was that my grunting:-(

Gimme Shelter baby...I'm an old dude

Nice responce. Just keep your volume low OTB.  Don't want your melody invading my activities.

I'm one of those guys that has an entire playlist set-up to set the mood.  Nightswimming by REM is a classic!

Great call, sir! I've got a couple playlists of this nature but I think that demands to be added to one of them.

No list would be complete without this Smith's classic.  I wish they would have made a video for this one.....

Guess it depends on what the mood is.  Probably have to read the lyrics to be offended by them though.

And what mood are you trying to set with THAT? haha

Not attempting to troll the thread or anything. My favorite providers generally have music they put on before we get started. Since I generally see providers closer to my age (I'm in my 40s), they generally choose artists I'm familiar with.

For example, one favorite alternates between Billy Joel's greatest hits and John Legend. Nice background music. One goes with jazz fusion or a Cities 97 Sampler. And one goes with a sort of atmospheric New Age music. It all works. It doesn't distract and it's relaxing while we relax.

On the other hand, I've let providers know generally what kind of music I like and some have surprised me with exactly that during a session. That's nice when it's part of the service.

Per your last point of providers choosing music appropriate to your taste, that really is a treat and an indicator of a great provider. I've had one that "got the impression" that I'd be a fan of a particular genre of music (it was my least favorite genre) when in all honesty it was just what she wanted to hear.

Classic! And one provider I enjoyed had Teardrop playing. She was fantastic.
