Can anyone with recent experience rank the following clubs in the Dusseldorf area:

Dolce Vita, Living Room, Planet Happy Garden, Acapulco.

I've been to Golden Time and Villa Vertigo and know what they are like, but I would like to try some new options. Which of these would be the best bet for quality, selection, and overall experience?
I can only comment ont ACA and LR. Acapulco is a nice roomie club with a very good pricing structure (unless you like long sessions). There are quite a few girls (70+ on fridays/saturdays) with plenty of good looking girls, mostly from Romania. It is a bit dull though, since the girls aren't allowed to approach you. Beer is not included and the food is mediocre (bbq in summer is ok though).

LR is also nice with plenty of pretty (mainly Romanian) girls, food is better and beer is included - for your comparison it is a sister club of GT. Lately the girl/guy ratio has been very good (as in many women). The pricestructure is similar to GT and VV. On the busier days, there is a lot of atmosphere with girls dancing on the bar etc. I'm going again in a few days :).

PHG I've never been to, but it seems to have improved as of late. Tuesdays are 'Italian days' with free wine and Campari (or some other stuff). They also have a place nect door for afterparties on the weekends called 'By Night', so you can go on partying after closing (also rooms available). Some girls from other clubs come here as well to make some extra money. As I said, haven't been yet, so just what I heard through the grapvine.

Don't know much about Dolce Vita and haven't heard that much about it either. Make of that what you want ;)

Thanks for the information. It sounds like LR wins out over ACA for ratio and access from DUS. I'll try to make it to PHG if time and geography allow and report back. FYI - I will be in the area next week (10/26-10/30) as well. Drop me an e-mail (address in previous post) if your visit will overlap. Thanks again!

Public transport is a no brainer. Getting to ACA will have you change in Essen and then a bus or cab ride into the middle of nowhere. The connection to Kaarst IKEA (LR) is quick and good. If you want a hotel close by, you should check out the ISA hotel in Kaarst (100 yards from LR) which is pretty cheap as well. LR was pretty nice last friday, eventhough the regulars said there were relatively few girls. Still too many pretty Romanians to chose from (and still a bit love with Daniella).

By the way, VV will have a special of 4 days (up to november 1) for 75 entry. I am hearing some bad reports about the male clientele and there's pretty much no one from the Dutch board that still visits the place regularly...make of that what you will.

I'd be interested in hearing your opinions on Golden Time and Villa Vertigo.  I'm still trying to plan my trip for next month.

Golden Time is the largest club selection , best time for me 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm you can be first in line with an upper tier girl.  Food is the best imho.  Later at night can get real crowded. Best to visit on quiet days Sun thru Wed

Mom and pop Planet Happy Garden is my favorite club, not the greatest selection with 90% romanians but unbelievable service is the norm.  Avoid Mon.

Living Room best thing is to get a coupon after visiting Golden Time so entrance is 1/2 25 euros, not bad but 90% romanians

Villa Vertigo I dont recommend, bad management so girls have pro attitute

Dolce Vita small club i have never visited

Acapulco on the cheaper side 40 euros for girl, 35 euros entrance, more for quickies

I have visited Samya in Cologne, not recommended small club

Also dont forget Ying Yang across the borde. middle tier club could be ok as a backup
