If you haven't watched this video about why you should NEVER talk to the police, watch it right now.

I hope this message gets thru because it is damn important.

Spent a long day @ the amusement park and came home to sit my ass down have a beer and couldn't find anything to watch except COPS Reloaded.  Nice touch calling old shows Reloaded - Not.

Anyway, never ceases to amaze me how many fucking people in this country don't know their rights.  Man are we fucking in trouble.  I weep for my country (crying sad face).

So, since this play area is rife with legal trouble for guys and gals.  Here is the routine if you ever get stopped at a house/hotel/motel/no-tell/parking lot/stop light/etc. by LE.

#1 (there are no more).

KEEP YOUR FUCKING MOUTH SHUT.  Except to say I am invoking my right to remain silent.  Any and all questions can be said to my attorney.  Repeat this shit until you are blue in the fucking face or the cop says get the fuck out of here and I don't want to see you again.

Remember "any and all statements you make can be used against you in a court of law".

If you are worried about looking guilty because you invoke your right to remain silent.  Remember this the cop already thinks you are guilty or he wouldn't have fucking stopped you!!!!!  He does not want to chat or talk about the weather:(

Don't say shit except I will not talk without my attorney.  Cops can and will lie, will continue asking you questions even after you asked for an attorney and all other kinds of shit to get you to talk (In the Norfolk 4 case the cops threatened a U.S. Navy Sailor with the death penalty unless he confessed to a murder.  The guy was released 10 or 15 years later after DNA proved someone else did the crime. Don't think this shit happens think again.  Since 1989, 312 people in 36 states have been exonerated through post-conviction DNA testing.  READ THAT AGAIN - 312 FUCKING INNOCENT PEOPLE)

So to repeat - If a cop says who did you visit in this hotel?  The answer is I am not answering any questions without my attorney.  Ok Mr. ***** let's go to the station.  That's a tricky one because you don't have to go to the station unless you are under arrest.  So repeat I am not answering any questions without my lawyer.  By saying that you are not giving consent to go to the police station.  So just keep repeating the statement like you are some dumbass ADHD kid on Ritalin.

I will not speak without my attorney (say it 10,000 fucking times).

Or you could trust the cop and in 20 years be the 313 innocent person freed from jail because of a dead hooker.

RT - keepin' it real

This can not be said often enough. I think people can get scared and want to lie their way out and that will only dig themselves deeper. NEVER lie to a cop. That is a crime in and of itself and is reason to arrest.

Very True. NO ONE has ever talked their way out of an arrest. You have the right to remain silent even if you are not under arrest. A common tactic is to tell you that you are only being "detained" so you can't remain silent. This is B.S. and meant to trick you into saying something that can be twisted into an arrest. Keep your mouth shut and call your lawyer as soon as you can.

SO many dumb-ass people say yes when asked "Do I mind if I search your car"

"Do I mind if I search your purse"

You can tell L.E. that you don't consent and they will then need probable cause.

Actually, they say "no" when asked "do you mind if I search your car?"

Keep in mind that they don't have to ask if they're arresting you - the law allows a warrantless search of the area. But if they are not arresting you, you don't  need to agree to the search - you can decline. The likely outcome is that they will detain you until they get a warrant - because you're obviously hiding something, right?

If they keep asking questions, just respond, "Am I being detained".  If they say "yes", ask, "what are the charges"...then go back to I cannot answer those questions without legal representation".

If they say no, then ask "since I am not being detained, am I free to go".

If they sank no or ask more questions - repeat the above until you are blue in the face.
