Found a provider with two recent reviews, however provider has changed phone numbers at least 4 times since Oct.
When I google the phone numbers there linked to busts in different cities.. Thoughts.  Has anyone else seen this before.
Also noted the provider references TER ID in her ads, but does not have a TER acct to receive messages?  This this common

I would avoid any provider who s post on the board aren't linked to her account, if she can't reply it's less of a concern but at the very least she should be posting from the ID linked to the reviews. Meaning in the upper right of her post there s a quick link to her reviews. Anyone can create a profile and reference a ter id number.
Changing phone numbers often could be another red flag; many times its to avoid bad reviews or rip off reports. At times it means nothing. If you have more than a few possible red flags is it worth the risk to you?
I d skip it. But if you are less risk adverse maybe you d take the chance....

1)  She may prefer to change her number frequently.  Some hobbyists do the same.  But it could easily be an attempt to avoid some bad reviews in her past.

2)  What sites are showing that the number is associated with busts?  There are several sites that put a provider's information on their site along with a claim that the provider was arrested or has some other legal problems.  If the provider contact the site, the people running it offer to remove the entry for a suitable fee.  Such sites are basically a scam.

3)  A provider may well have reviews but not be active on TER.  This, in and of itself, is not unusual.

4)  Take a look at her review history, in particular who has reviewed her.  Reviews from well-established reviewers who also participate on the board are far more likely to be genuine.  On the other hand, if her reviews are from handles that have no other reviews or only a few could be a sign of scam being done.

Thanks Vorlon.. Just got a PM from a reviewer that confirmed your point 4!!

I'd be leery if it were me.

You could try to see if the phone #posted with a legit review is still working, and ask.  If it's out of service, she could well have switched to a new phone, which is not all that uncommon.  But 4 phone #'s in a matter of months would make me leery.

Are the ads all for the same location?  I see adds pop up using legit pictures of a real provider that are NOT posted by the real provider fairly often--in cities other than the one the real provider usually works in.  Just saw another one today.

I used to contact the legit providers in that case--still will if I see one I know--but you'd be surprised how many have told me that "no it is not their ad" but they won't do anything about it and didn't really care.  Could be a rip-off, could be legit but someone other than the actual provider named, or could be LE.

I would suggest not working to find out which it is.
