Thanks, Portia, for all that you brought to this community. I enjoyed your photos, back when that was still ok, your contests, and your overall enthusiasm.

You were one of the first I met in my explorations here, and you very kindly gave me a bunch of helpful pointers and recommendations. And I know I was not the only beneficiary of this guidance.

When we met, you greeted me at the door with some strawberries to share, and we enjoyed those in many ways during our time together. I still remember looking way up to where you stood on those heels. It is one of the odd things about this pastime that I have very fond memories of our one time together, but I'm sure you have no memory of me at all. Just know I appreciated all your many efforts.

I seldom partake in the hobby these days. I only saw you a few times. But when I look back over the women who have shared their time with me, you stand alone. Truly one of a kind and one of the best. Thank you for sharing your time with me.

I was asked several weeks ago by a dear friend if I was going to make a "formal announcement" on this Board  
 ( She's been getting asked about me quite a bit apparently )    
   
 Here it is:  
   
 4.5 years ago a dish called Portia Eden was created and added to the Bountiful Buffet for you to sample.  
 She was designed to be appealing to many different types of people....and she was.... to one degree or another.  
 The food critics were generally kind in their reviews and many reviews were written encouraging other diners to sample Portia Eden.  
   
 Of course,  there are always new dishes being added all the time as the regulars crave variety and have a seemingly endless appetite.  
 Always has been this way and always will be.  
 Should you desire to be fed in this manner, at this buffet,  you will will never go hungry.  There is an endless supply.  
   
 Portia Eden is no longer available on the Menu.
