Any one have experiance with Green Valley Ranch?

as a newbie to TER i spent a bunch of time researching and picking a provider for an upcoming vegas trip. After all my research I contacted the lady and she informed me that there are certain hotels she just can't or won't go to. Got me curious.. are some hotels more 'provider friendly' than others? If so any suggestions??

When I've stayed at two awesome hotels (V and B - figure it out), I have had to meet ladies and in the lobby area and escort them past the guards.  Never a problem with security for me. A tad uncomfortable, but it seemed to be the norm.

some hotels have security at the elevators example TReasure Island starts around supper time. I know the Monte Carlo doesn't  but worst case scenario you meet in bar and bring them up. Ask the provider to tell you where she will go.

Some hotels have security at the elevators ... which usually isn't a problem just a hassel .... She may have gotten escorted out of a casino or two and asked not to come back .. as for provider friendly most are they just look the other way.

I've stayed at The Riviera and The Aladdin I had no problem seeing providers there.

Major inquisition walking a lady up to the room lately.
Hotel is lousy anyway.  Spend the bucks and go for the Venitian.

i agree, a provider told me that harrah's dont like them.

Implanting those good, old fashioned Midwestern values...Being the retirement home disguised as a casino it really is, they just don't want any lawsuits when some 92yo guy's pacemaker quits on him after seeing your basic undressed Vegas Hooker. Not to mention the ire from the 87yo wifey, who'd probably try to organize a boycott, from her walker.

The rooms do suck, BTW. I don't get that part, because the hotel part of some of their other casinos are usually 4* (Rincon, Lake Tahoe, Atlantic City, even E. Chicago IN rooms are very nice, even though the neighbourhood absolutely sucks).

Bill Harrah loved the girls and believed in giving his customers a good gamble. Kind of like the exact opposite of the two current MBAs in charge (Satre and Loveman), who believe in squeezing you for every possible dime.

According to cheapovegas.com, that hotel used to be a Holiday Inn. So that would explain it.

Personally, if I'm watching my $$ because I'd prefer to give them to the ladies, I stay at the Barbary Coast just down the street. Nice rooms (though the remodel they are doing takes away a bit of the Victorian charm and makes it more generic "nice Vegas hotel room", in my opinion), small hotel (room service doesn't take a week and you don't need a Sherpa to find your room), good service.

I stay at Harrahs 12 times per year and have only been bothered by security once, I told him if he has a problem call my casino host immediatly. Guess what? no problem. My room is always great and the price is perfect.

There's a fair number that are banned from the MGM Grand.  And some have a problem with some of the lower end hotels or ones that are just outta the way for them (that's more of a personal preference of the provider more than anything else).  It varies from person to person.  Worse case, you get another room at an acceptable property.

thanks for all the feedback..not to crazy about the idea of going down and escorting the lady up, especailly when i'm travelling with business associates...plus i love the thrill of the little late night knock on the door..does HR have such security at elevator?

It's not uncommon to see security at the guest elevators to prevent the riff raff from going to the guest floors.  Hard Rock has security at the elevators.  In these instances, you have two choices:

1) Meet the person on the main floor and come up with them (flashing your room key at security).

2) Have security call your room when they're at the elevators and allowing them to come up.

BTW, the smart ones will keep old (but current looking) room keys to flash at security.

The HR does have security at the elevator.  Cindy Spice came for a visit wearing a not-so subtle outfit but when she showed up, security called and asked if it was ok for her to come up and that was it.

compared to  people who hang out and party at the Hard-Rock   that include celebrities ..........my outfit was very subtle ;-)

HR is very escort friendly .....well that is because they really can't tell who is an escort . Escorts probably dress more conservative then some of the guest who stay there .

Some hotels are more escort friendly , but if a lady is 86'd out of a hotel no matter how friendly they are she isn't welcomed to the hotel . If she is caught on property,  she can be taken in for trespassing .

Always nice when the client stays at hotels who don't have security .
To name a few -  Paris , Monte Carlo , Bally's , Mandalay  Bay  , Aladdin , Luxor ( east or west tower only ) MGM , ( but before 10:00 pm ) Mirage ( also before 10:00 pm ) .

BTW smarts ones will not keep room keys because by law that is possession  of private property and would be considered stolen private  property if caught by vice .

But still many other creative ways to get up to rooms when you have security but yet being discreet .
Ok I can't give all my secrets away ;-)

Enjoy Vegas ,
xoxo CindySpice

Stay at a tower room at the Luxor, no security at the elevators, but don't stay in the pyramid they have security at every elevator...excuse me, inclanator

Never have had a problem at the Flamingo, New York New York, MGM or Monte Carlo.  I would probably recommend the Monte Carlo for price though.

The Golden Nugget are provider friendly also. I've seen two ladies there and walked them up to the room. If you have a spare key, give your key to the lady and let her walk up behind you so it wont look suspicious. Just make sure and get the key back.
