... like goin' to the smorgasbord (buffet, dontcha know) for a little lunch. Den maybe catch the Gophers or Wild or Timberpuppies or Vikes, whoever's playin'. Or maybe do some broom hockey or curlin', oh ya dats a lotta fun, you betcha. Then maybe supper at Pancakes House, and then at night some canoodlin' with a lady friend under the blankets, to keep warm, eh? 
Minnesota... it's not just a state; it's a state of mind. Ya darn tootin'. 
Downtown you will find great restaurants, the theater district, sports venues, and clubs all within walking distance. It's a short trip to the Walker Art Museum or the Minnesota Institute of Art. There are a couple different segway tours which are also fun.
a mall with an action park? Is this true? I love action parks even if they are on the smaller side. Of course I'm use to 6 flags but all rides are fun to me!
That mall is in Bloomington and out there nothing is walking distance. It is close to the airport and just a light rail ride from downtown.
What do you like? What kinds of foods do you like? MN has a ton to offer, but everyone is different on what they like to do, eat or see.

but I love wings and I love to theme parks Yes I'm a gal of simple pleasures. As far as drinks Black label is my go to.

If you are into "dives",
The Nook in St. Paul and the 5/8 Club in Minneapolis, both serve "Juicy Lucy" hamburgers which are a local concoction. The Nook was the very first restaurant highlighted on Diner's Drive-Ins and Dives. I would personally avoid Matt's, although a lot of people will disagree.
Al's breakfast in dinkytown (near UofM) is local legend that, per the owner, aspires to be a dive.
The best steaks are at Manny's, the best seafood at Oceanaire (a premium price for both).
The lounge at the W Hotel is a good place for drinks.
For Pizza, Black Sheep in the warehouse district serves coal - fired pizza.
For a salad bar, the sky room atop Macy's downtown Minneapolis location has the best salad bar I have experienced as well as good made to order grill items.
There are some outside venues I would recommend, but not this time of year.

Thank you I will try the Salad bar sounds like fun although in NYC all salad bars are the same I'll give anything a try. What about shopping? Any outlets near by or any mall that takes the cake?
There aren't really any outlet malls near downtown Minneapolis. There is the Mall of America, but I would recommend searching the store directory online prior to going. It is a lot of walking.
The Smitten Kitten adult boutique in South Minneapolis is a female friendly store. A lot of ladies speak highly of the atmosphere.
If you are into Jazz, the Dakota Jazz club is a good venue for music and dining downtown.
Look into Bar LaGrassa as well
There is the Mall of America (has a theme Park in it). Lots of different stores and places to eat.
There is a huge outlet area north of downtown. It is in Albertville. Not sure of distance because I live in the southern part of the state. But more shopping up that way.
There are also other malls around the Metro in the suburbs.... Others will have better intel on them.
Just depends on how much traveling you want to do or if you have a vehicle or taking cabs.

As mentioned, we of course have the world-famous Mall of America, which has the theme park that you're looking for as well as lots of great dining and shopping options. You will probably want to give yourself at least half a day to cover that one. Also, downtown Minneapolis has a great skyway system, also with lots of dining and shopping options. Someone mentioned the outlet mall in Albertville, it should be pointed out that there is also one in Burnsville, just off of highway 77. And last but not least, I would recommend a trip to Uptown (Minneapolis)...lots of good bars and grills there. I wish I could could see you and show you around a bit, but my schedule doesn't mesh with yours on this particular occasion.
