Why don't we ever hear about men reporting that their wives coerced them into participating in these types of activities?!

I'm from this area and get back there often, but I never heard of this going on.
No "Pay for Play" activities was implyed. Two women saying that they were forced to participate is troubling.
But it sounds like it was mostly between consenting adults.
I don't follow the swinging scene, because my wife will not have any part of it. But I find it interesting that this was kept quiet in a Range Town. It's normaly very hard to keep a secret in that area.

A couple of unsubstantiated reports of it not being voluntary for everyone are troubling but without hard evidence, there's no justification for the city to intervene. Even proof of this is found, it should be the husbands or boyfriends who are punished. The reverend sounds like another moralizer looking to stick his nose into the lives of people whose lifestyle he disapproves of.
