I have 10 days of VIP left. Some of my greatest posts are moderated so only I can read them and giggle. I'm considering retiring and being done with the hobby and all that goes with it. Please post and let me know if you love me or hate me, please get it out of your system as I plan to take the next 10 days to get everything out of my system. I think the honesty of the board has been lacking. Posts get up then they quickly get taken down. let's really talk as Wong fades to black. PM me for the next 10 days or so too you prefer. Past that you kids are on your own.

I can care less about what people say...what is more important is what they think. I'm not being run out. I can handle the board attitudes but you have to worry about the offline shit. Ya piss off money and money will find you. Kinda like politics and the mafia. I find decreasing value so I think it's time to bow out. I have 10 days of wong-itude left. Whether or not folks agree with your opinions or conclude they like or dislike you doesn't matter. Everyone has something to contribute that is helpful to someone. I hope you don't discontinue your contributions to this board.
I don't mind different viewpoints and I don't care if someone likes me or not. It's the censorship that I can't do anything about. What's the point of spending time writing a post or review when it gets's moderated. You should ask yourself and your friends if the shoe was on the other foot how you would feel. I am an advocate for truth and that just isn't what makes it to the board anymore and I know exactly why.
Wong you are not the only one that gets posts not posted. The mods do seem to have a heavy hand on anything they personally don't like. Never mind if it fits within the rules that they are supposed to follow. Either they need to follow the rules they made for posting or redo the rules to make them follow what is actually happening.

Then yes, a few of the PMs I've received have suggested that this board might be a friendlier place without you. What have the PMs that you've received been saying?
I couldn't help but notice that an alias poster that told you off last week got more than 10 likes on their post. That may be one of the most liked posts on the front page right now. (please correct me if I'm wrong) And if your own posts are being removed it could be that they do not conform to the TER guidlines.
But you seem to believe that this is all part of a bigger conspiracy. And now it sounds like you think that someone is out to get you IRL, apparently because of the way you've been keepin-it-real here on the boards.
Maybe a little time off would be beneficial. Just my 2½¢

I do want and appreciate your honesty. It's refreshing you don't go all "alias" on me (unless you also do that which wouldn't surprise me and in that case go F yo-self)
To answer you:
I'm sure you may have received PM's that have suggested the board may be a "friendlier" place without Wong. I bet I could name those handles that sent you those messages. Should I do that? I bet I could get at least 50% of the names right. You should really consider who you talk to Bud...certain manipulators in our scene may lead you down a certain path that I personally don't agree with...have fun with those hobby friends.
Thanks for asking about the PM's I have received...several are overwhelmingly positive and I appreciate those that have sent me messages.
As far as alias posters...you know how I feel about those cowards. I understand you are under the illusion that "likes" and "reads" mean something on a discussion board. Oh it's impossible that those are manipulated by certain individuals with multiple handles who log in and "like" the post. Come on Bud get a clue on how the real world works. Goes to show how easily it is to manipulate on the board these days. That gets me to your point about my posts being removed. Are you an adult Bud? Can you read something you don't particularly like or agree with and either ignore it or respond in an adult manner? I think you can as proven by our back and forth. Others evidently can't and would rather censor posts. LAME...this is truly one of the reasons there is shrinking value in being involved on the discussion board. If there can't be a record in the ONLY hobby discussion venue locally what is the use? LEO and other bad influences will end up winning and say goodbye to your hobby.
Lastly, yes I believe there are people involved on the board that may want to go all "IRL" on me. If you aren't half paranoid in this hobby you are a dipshit. I think those people realize it's not an avenue that would benefit anyone but you never know.

We all have a right to our opinions and the right to express ourselves. Some do so in a politically
correct and polite way. Others not so much. So what. We are all adults with the free choice to skip
posts made by those whom we know will be controversial and/or rude. We must learn to tolerate each
other. Personally, I appreciate your honesty just as I do other controversial posters such as the
infamous reincarnation of Ben Dover (where you been DirtyJesus?). There is a place for all of us
here on TER. We should embrace our differences instead of finding fault, blame, and hate.
But I can't handle the censorship. Already today I have had posts removed. They were legit but the reason is I am always troublemaking...et al...there is no reason to continue I see. I will shoot you a message to let you know the alternate outlet that I am setting up and I hope you will join me there.
You've said shit. You've been stupid. You've said wonderful things that I love and things I roll my eyes at. You guys (NOT just you, Wong) throw shit at each other, and it does look really silly to us ladies, because we KNOW a lot of you. You guys fight without ever knowing the real person that you are even talking to. There are people that take this SOOO seriously and those that can handle it and hold their own.
The thing about you, you've never stood out to me as an unreasonable or an asshole (in general). I've even gone off on a couple people over the years.
The thing I love is honesty, and it doesn't matter what anyone says to you, what matters is how you feel about the things YOU do. What I'm hearing is that you want to live more authentically, maybe? You seem to want to just get raw honesty out there. I can respect that. I don't know you other than on these boards. The only "approval" you need to stay is from TER; whether the rest of us would rather you stay or not is irrelevant. And I strongly suspect you know there is no consensus among the rest of us; Many like you quite a bit; many do not.
Personally, I think you make a lot of interesting and insightful posts. You also have a habit of getting into exchanges with with others that are little more little more than you and the other person insulting one another. That seems pointless to me.
As far as TER goes, I find many of their rules and practices baffling and make the site not as useful as it used to be. Add to that their unwillingness to explain up front why they do the things they do and it's no wonder so many are frustrated with TER and no small number have moved elsewhere. But here's the thing. It's their sandbox and they will run it how they want. If they choose not to listen to the complaints of the membership, that is their prerogative. So long as I can still find value with the site, I'll stay. When I don't, I'll leave. But I am not going to spend lots of time arguing with TER or bitching about them. I consider it a waste of time and whenever I do leave, I'd just as soon it be my decision.
