Look for info either on your local TER board or other forums to get an idea of the going rate in your area. It sounds like you overpaid for the service provided but prices can vary wildly depending on where you are.
You overpaid for the handjob if you had the service in a small town or city. If you were in a large city, you should not expect more for $100, the going rate for full service starts at around 250-300 per hour.
