Winter has ended so this bear has decided to come out of hibernating...Time to shed those winter pounds! Spring training starts today!

So Whats your excerise routine??

Before Winter I used to do 30mins cardio which I broke into running the bike for 15 mins then running/walking for another 15mins. Then it was 30mins with light weight training.

Before I discovered all the fun discussed on this board I use to go for a long run a few days a week during lunch. Now every time I think of heading out for a lunch time run I think of other things I could be doing with that time. So now my routine consists of running once a weekend when the weather is good.

I miss my days in California where I could get all the exercise I needed by surfing a few days a week. Most people don't realize what a good work out it is. A side benefit is that there are few things better looking than a nice looking girl in a bikini or thong on a surfboard. Something about them laying on that flat board really makes the butt stick up. Some guys pick their surf spots based on the waves, I had other criteria (I guess my mind is always on one thing).

I barely have enough time to enjoy the hobby much less exercise anymore. Now i all I have to do is lose my hair and become a super villian. LOL

You should try to do 30 minutes cardio 4 times a week at minimum. Anything less is a waste of time.

Mix up the boring stuff like treadmills and bikes with stuff you enjoy from time to keep it fun (hoops, tennis, etc.) otherwise you'll loose interst. Good luck!

...maybe that's why my sessions lack the passion of jeopcon's.

Every day:

5 - 10 minutes cardio warm up

30 minutes stretching

Mon/Wed/Fri:

30-35 minutes of cardio

Tues/Thurs/Sat:

Weight lifting

It's a lot, but I've lost about 20# and 4 inches from my waist since January.

Until I got my hand broken practicing, that is.

Should be able to go back in another week or two..

Almost fainted the first night I went; I've never done anything that has provided as much exercise, including running.

The oldest student is in his 40's and the instructors are in their 60's, so nobody is too old..

Just never took the initative to join a school...

My handle didn't come from the way I urinate or what I like the ladies to do to my face...LOL, it comes from the gym.

I usually lift four or five days a week and jog four or five days a week. I also cycle and play a lot of tennis weather permitting.

I workout with people half my age and that's why I come here... to 'workout' with ladies half my age. So if any lady would like a set or two of tennis before refreshments... let me know  ;-)~~
