Question for the leagle minds...confused_smile

OK...

Over the past several months (probably a year now) I've had a certain level of comfort responding to ads that have the phrase "no black men" in the description of services...

For those of you who want to jump on the racist train... F-off...

This is not to do with their choice on who to see or not, but rather to do with the fact that LE could never post such an add without coming under fire should they make arrests using an ad like that... My thinking is that it would open up a huge liability for them that they would be discriminating against and selectively targeting people.

My question is... Does that seem like a reasonable argument with any kind of legal standing or have I lulled myself into a false sense of security?

Inquiring minds would like to know!

Thanks,
Fog

and I suspect a few heads would roll too.

So, are you suggesting that clients, well white or non AA ones anyways, are safer answering ads from providers who put "no AA" in their ads as a way to avoid meeting LE?

I suppose you might be just a smidgen safer, but then again meeting LE has never been a really big issue if you stay with reliable well reviewed providers anyways, so what's the point?

I think I would feel kind of weird seeing someone with those kinds of prejudices anyways and wouldn't enjoy myself.

Mr Fisher,

Don't disagree with your stance but some have something like no AA men under 30 or 35.. or Hispanic men or Indian men... sometimes just a preference I guess. I personally have no prejudices but realize we live in a world where some do so I don't judge... Unless someone is just flat out racist or unaccepting of a particular culture I'm not inclined to judge.

I think LE would use that language in one of their ads.

...past LE.  They could have too many AA arrests on their books and need to even out the stats so as not to look prejudiced.

Just make sure you know who your are dealing with. Best way is to stick to reviewed providers. In the jurisdictions you hobby in they do all types of tricks, IE steal pictures from legit providers and use their LE phone number. Other tricks are to steal pictures from providers out of the region, porn pictures, etc.

Cops don't care...  most busts in the least time...   but I'd still be doing my homework prior to a date.  Scams are more likely than LE threats.
Take care!
