I still haven't been convinced whether decriminalization is a pro or con.
Who is the opposition?
Take your pick:
The Republicans, the Democrats, the Fascists, the Communists, the "Why Doesn't Anyone Think of the Children?" Party, The good government types, the bad governments types, the intellectuals, the anti-intellectuals, the feminists, the anti-feminists, and pretty much any religion you care to mention with the possible exception of Satanists.
Now, how are our odds looking?

I still haven't been convinced whether decriminalization is a pro or con.
There are some gals who argue that the status quo is to their liking.
They point to the morass which is legal P4P in certain of Nevada's counties as evidence of what legalization can lead to. They do have a point.
On the other hand, most western countries have some form of decriminalized P4P, and things seem to work fairly smoothly there.
