With all the talk of infestation by LE on this site and others, where are all the reviews exposing different user handles as LE, whether they are client or provider?

Does LE tend to go after the providers more than the client? How frequently are the high end providers targeted, or are SW's and backpage/cl girls the general targets?

I'm very curious about all the verification steps others take as clients… check reviews, check reviews, check reviews… seems to me a lot of reviews out there are faked to get free VIP, others could be real, but you can't help but wonder if they're reviews put up by LE to give the provider profile validity.

Sorry to ramble… a bit nervous and new to this. Found what appears to be a legit provider, with what appear to be very good reviews and a legit history in the business on the high end side (400+).

There is an assumption that LE monitors TER, but no hard proof as far as I know.  It's always best to make safe conservative assumptions and therefore refrain from mentioning things like specific hotels, etc. so as not to tip LE off.

Maybe LE has posted fake reviews to get some cred, but we'll never know for sure.

Best thing is to follow all the steps needed to play safely and relax.

In various jurisdictions, LE reads this website.  Hell, a lot of LE officers go off the clock and see hookers themselves just like anyone else.  This isn't limited to male LE officers either, some female LE officers are escorts themselves on their own time.

Read your local news to find out how often the police bust escorts and their clients in the area where you live.  This can vary greatly from one area to the next.  In some parts of the country, politicians are promising to clean up the streets from streetwalkers, and the police are relentless.  In other parts of the country, the police could care less, because they have better things to do.

If you are worried about being busted as a customer of escorts, the scam I have seen police pull in my local news goes like this.  They put up an ad on backpage with some gorgeous looking model that makes your jaw drop and your tongue roll out.  Then the price on that ad will be extremely reasonable.  Have you noticed that some escorts say "No African American Men"?  Well the police don't ever say that in their ads, they welcome everybody.  Then there will be no reviews whatsoever for that fake provider, because nobody ever heard of her before.  Because the price is cheaper than everybody else, and the picture is hotter than hell, they will get a lot of calls.  They will have a hotel room somewhere, and when the guys show up, they get arrested.  They will do this for an entire shift which is 8-10 hours or something like that.  They can't do this for more than one day, because then word will get out about what they are up to.  People will post ads on backpage warning everybody else that a sting is in progress at some hotel in other words.  Anyway, that is how I have read about them busting customers before in the area where I live.  They will do that once or twice a year.

The way they bust providers is similar.  They get a hotel room, then they pretend to be the customer, they call a bunch of providers, and tell them to come on over to their hotel room.  They don't care what the provider charges, since they are not paying the provider anyway.  As the escorts show up, they get busted.

In both cases, the cops rented the hotel room, they set it up with hidden cameras, and they have more cops hiding in an adjacent hotel room for backup, and they set this up to bust as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time.  Therefore they typically won't do things like pretend to be an escort and go to people's homes for an outcall and arrest them there, that is too dangerous for them, and it is too much effort on their part to arrest just one person.  Some people would argue that outcalls to you are safer for that reason.  That is debatable. I would just say stick to providers who have good reviews over a period of time, and PM one of the reviewers to ask a follow up question and see if you get a response, basically to see if that reviewer is for real.  If you show up and something ever doesn't feel right, like there are unmarked police cars in the area, then leave.  You don't need to over-think this, MrFisher is right, do the common sense things and will be fine from LE.

I would advise using a separate prepaid cell phone for hobbying.  Use a different email address too.  If a cop ever grabs an escort's cell phone, he won't get your phone number that way.
