That is so wrong on so many levels. Why on earth would a woman think that is even remotely appropriate? It's inappropriate from every angle. Man, some of the things I hear about just blow my mind. I don't know why "common sense" is so uncommon!
I recently showed up for a appointment and was greeted at the door by both ladies and all their kids! I just had to turn around and leave. I understand lots of the ladies have kids but not greeting clients at the door. Have others had this happen and your response ?
One provider I've seen a couple of times has kids and I think there have been two occasions when I arrived and she answered the door with the kids thinking I was the sitter there to collect them. In both cases I took a little stroll for a few minutes until she texted me to report that the sitter had collected the kids and then I went on with the appointment. If I hadn't already known her reasonably well the first time it happened I probably just would have bailed. And I certainly would have bailed if the kids were going to be in the house the whole time.
