I have never used gps to find my way around, I still look things up on a map.  Also, I have a "little black book" type of thing where I have all my important phone numbers written in pen ink.

without my phone or internet.  I am SO RELIANT on it I was PANICKED.  I mean, what if I had to drive somewhere?  (google maps)  or the most adorable puppy took a picture with the sweetest baby girl (facebook) and not calling and texting people...wow...I actually went to the library and emailed my family to "LET EVERYONE KNOW I don't have a phone but I will soon!

I'm really disturbed by this!

I didn't have a cell phone for 25 years and I WAS FINE!!!!  I KNEW telephone numbers!

Where do you draw the line to keep your cell phone use for convenience and not for necessity..

When I get a new phone there's always a group of emergency numbers that I make sure I have memorized.....but that's about all I do to make me less dependent on it.
You poor thing -12 hrs!! My, my how we've adapted ;)

Having your phone and received no texts or calls.

Right?  And really....I NEVER get texts!! I text my daughters and tell them to come home...and to say goodnight and love you every night...I rarely get a response;)  Brats.
