Customers scared enough to get companion arrested

This is directly from a pre sentence report on a felony plea now in Maricopa Superior Court for a massage parlor felony charge:

On June 12, 2012 detective offered to pay for an act of prostitution (hand job) but defendant became scared and did not want to discuss any prostitution.  On July 24, 2012 surveillance was done at the massage place. After a customer left, a traffic stop was made and the customer admitted paying $40 for a "hand job" from the Defendant whom the customer identified from a photograph

people just can't seem to grasp the concept of shut the fuck up when dealing with LE.

As always with an episode such as this, I find myself wonder, "Officers, are you ABSO-fucking-LUTELY sure you don't have anything better to do than use your limited resources to state out a tug job place? Really?

My first thought upon reading your post was "Felony?? What fucking felony???" and then I reread the OP, and sure enough, he says felony. As if the 120 degree summers weren't enough for me to avoid AZ..........sheesh!!!

In Arizona and in some other states whenever two are gathered or helped such as a massage parlor, a boyfriend/husband sharing a bank account with companion or massage person, someone who helps with setting appts, a driver.. any of these makes it a criminal enterprise felony in Arizona.

Then they layer on charges.  Every record of any money deposited is felony money laundering. Often many counts.

In one case the judge with a "Donald Advisement" of a worker and the prosecutor threatens worker bee women with a potential 40 years in prison if they don't take a felony plea deal.  That is why so few cases go to trial.  Most defendants are scared to death into pleas often with only probation but a lifetime felony record unless they sign a testimony agreement against others.  Then they get an "undesignated felony" which can be reduced to a misdemeanor after probation ends.

See the Phoenix section for some really bad situations of women I posted about yesterday.

We need more public awareness of the $millions wasted on in private consenting adults vs the sham of children and sex trafficking which is all over the local news.

In one case probably $1 million has been spent by the State to convict or get pleas from the Phoenix Goddess Temple Tantra folks with little evidence of individuals doing prostitution.  in fact one women was in bed with an undercover but she didn't say anything wrong and no prostitution bust - but now a felon for criminal association as she took a plea instead of risk prison for mere association to a alledged "criminal enterprise"

Especially with thousands of child abuse cases not followed up on, rape kits not processed etc.

But its the war to save children and stop trafficking sham when 90% of arrests have nothing to do with either underage or coerced trafficking.  Huge grants going to LE and we have the "victim industry" with funding to Catholic Charities (Project Rose) to rescue consenting adults make them admit they are victims and have long indoctrination program or go to jail.  Save sexworkers by arresting them is the big theme by our Governor, task force lead by Mrs McCain (as in ex President run) with huge funding.

This is not just in Phoenix but gaining momentum all over the U.S. often with Phoenix as a training ground for LE and prosecutors from all over the U.S.
