Was "Hi, my name is....., would really like to see you" the ONLY thing your e-mail said? If that is the case, there is your answer.

I get half a dozen e-mails like this every day, and you just gave me nothing to go on. When I read an e-mail like that, I'm sitting at my computer thinking to myself "Ok. That is good information to know", and then I move on.

If you would like to see her, provide whatever information she asks for, and more importantly, provide a timeframe for when you would like to see her. Something along the lines of "Are you free next Wed between 5-7 pm?" Without something concrete to go on, your e-mail will simply come across as one of the many indecisive and insincere e-mails we ladies see on a daily basis.

Hope this helps, and if I'm totally off the mark here, and your e-mail was more specific than that, please disregard :o)

There are 2 providers that I have each sent an initial introductory email to and I have yet to get a response from either one.

Should I be persistent and keep emailing until they respond?

I would give it at least 48 hours.  Sometimes a provider is away and doesn't have internet where they are.

Another gambit might be to call them if they list a phone number.

Finally, was there anything about the emails that a provider might take offense with?

Did you make sure to include all the information that they ask for on their site?

Many providers get so much email that they just delete any messages that don't tow the line with regard to the last two items.

I hope this helps.

Literally "Hi, my name is..., would really like to see you".

As far as stuff they requested, the one I'm not exactly sure what city she's even in and was hoping to at least discern that (no need in going on any further if she's GU) --and the other I would have thought would respond to me with exactly what she requires.

One I sent 4 days ago, the other 2.

Unfortunately, they are both email only.

I took a chance and just now shot another to both.

This just seems very unusual since email-only providers in the past have usually responded immediately.
