I've learned you don't want to summon the red poster

My big ass mouth has received the special treatment as a result of having the red poster summoned.  Take it as a word of advice join the flock and tow the line but be creative in the way you express yourself.  Happy Sunday to you all.

Click it then click Contact Us again at the top and select the appropriate type.  For whatever reason the one that first appears is Cancel Membership so you probably don't want to use that one.

Maybe... check My TER > More > My Board Posts.  The post that was denied should be there. See if it has a Report Post button. If so, you can use that to ask Admin about it.  It may seem weird to "report" your own post, but I've read someplace (Newbie board?) about doing that.

Thanks Vorlon. They probably put "cancel membership" first as many of us have considered it lol.

Knots, I did wonder about that report post button but never tried it. Maybe I'll go peruse the Newbie board...

you probably worry way too much...

Not at all Mac but thanks for your concern.

I would also suggest you specifically reference whatever post/issue you are contacting them about so you can get your inquiry processed as timely as possible.  Honestly, there is no harm in asking the mods to clarify why a post was denied or removed but from my experience you may not get far in getting an answer that is comprehensive let alone logical.  It is what it is but if it's important to you go for it.

I actually contacted TER since I couldn't figure out how to contact the MN Forum mods to see why my post was not being allowed.

TER told me there are no longer mods for MN Forum and that TER is deciding whether to allow posts or not.

Still not a clear or easy way to find out why anyone's post is denied though. At least not that I've found.

Send us a message and ask, as has been suggested to you.

I can't guarantee you'll like the answer (I mean, you questioned our assertion that there are no mods any more, which begs the question as to why you would ask us anything if you're going to disregard any answer we give you), but it's the only way you'll get one.

I have gotten the same type of response back from them when I have asked too. Guess they must really like their job since customer service is not their strong point.

When I started on TER there were specific members assigned to moderate each board and you could contact them directly by their handle.  Several years ago TER got rid of that and centralized all board moderation.

I think that has an assigned moderator (and a great one).  Not sure if there's any other examples like that, but I don't recall seeing any others.

The important thing to remember is there is at least more than just one moderator,
I don't know if it's different times of days or different days of the week or a combination, but thank goodness there is more than one.
It helps so that there is some reasonable, timely stuff getting done sometimes & not just one dude w/a major god complex that decides who gets to say what & how, it's still -somewhat- of a fair entity.

and your board posts. Find the one that was denied.   You can reply back to TER admin.  I've had back and forth conversations with them in this manner.

Also, at the top of the page, there is a life preserver.  There is a contact customer support link there.
