... like the butterfly swirl from LA LAW... BUT when a woman CALLS herself a swirl, what does that mean? Someone suggested mixed race, which makes sense, but this girl is fair and blonde with freckles...

The only way I have heard this used is in reference to being biracial, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what she means.
People of mixed race cover the rainbow. Blond hair, blue eyes, light skin, freckles- it doesn't matter. Genetics is funny that way.
