hello everyone im new to the site any advise as to where i begin my journey?bigdoggie was not as welcoming or nice to me for no reason at all so now im looking eles where

My best advise is to use the search tab on the Newbie board for any helpful tips, hints on selecting, researching and navigating all of the information available on TER. You should have enough info on this board to get you started….. enjoy your adventure

OK, a'm a commited TER fan, so my opinion is biased.
Like you, I've visisted TBD's boards, and found them lacking in all respects.
Ask your questions here, there are plenty of haobbyists and ladies willing to help.
All of the above PLUS get a VIP membership so you can see the complete reviews. Also, you can see the reviewers history and backchannel (called a PM) a reviewer or a lady if they are also VIP's. A "pay as you go" cell phone is a must because it leaves no paper statement or record of your calls.
