Fast Girl-My Thoughts

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book about a former 3X Olympic Athlete, who later on in life became a very sought after provider in Las Vegas.  This true story chronicles her upbringing and early on targets teenage addictions, including running, constant energy, cleaning, etc etc.....sadly this also interweaves  her early bouts with depression and mental illness.  After her Olympic experiences, she settled down, had a family, and after 20 years of marriage, became a professional adult entertainer.  In this new life she thrived and prospered, until am overzealous reporter from The Smoking Gun outed her, by revealing her true identity. I should note that the theme of her memoir is MORE to underscore, that mental illnesses and  bi-polar syndrome are not recognized right away,  and once they are, one need not feel ashamed or guilty.  Happily she has moved on in her life, and is receiving treatments for her issues.
