I'm not quite ready to throw in the towel, but I'm looking for alternatives and just can't bring myself to keep spending the coin on unsatisfactory experiences.

I have a job that pays well and for nine years I've tried to see a couple of ladies a month but as the rates rise, I am being squeezed out, whether it is local providers or touring. I don't begrudge the providers, they have to make ends meet and it is a business. Anyone else having difficulty keeping up? I like 'amazing Asian hands' on BP. The price point is great and the experience is everything I want. It's too low so I tip to bring it up to near market.

I think part of your challenge is in when you say "my budget is one quality appt a month" and this may have changed to become a longer and more expensive appointment than when you started.
I think the average price has probably gone up 20-60% in most cases. I know the gals that were around back when I made this account were between 2-300 with most being 200 or 250 and now they are 300-400 with most being 300-350.
Honestly...I think the men have driven up the cost themselves with the choices they have made in supporting a relatively new market!
I actually think many girls don't charge enough. And I've heard from touring girls that they'll lower their rates a bit when they come here.
I am curious. Does you often tell a car dealer they do not charge enough, the grocer or cab driver?

I once rented a tailored suit that didn't fit nor feel nearly as good as my suit I paid $300 for, now I felt I over paid for the rental not under paid for the one that I bought and felt better on me!
I used to see a lot more providers but many of them had limited menus and lower rates. Now I prefer to focus on high quality providers and yes, their rates are higher, particularly since I now prefer 90 minute sessions.
I've also had other things happen in my life that require more of my income so I don't have as much available for hobbying. Such is life. I do know that I really look forward to the appointments I do make now more than I used to and the anticipation is quite enjoyable as well.

Yes, I agree ... over the past 5 years prices have climbed to an average of $250 - $300 + and sometimes that's for Half Hour!!! Many of the well known providers I have seen Use To Be $175 ... that was a good rate ... and then almost overnight they climbed to $300 to $350+ $300+ is a a lot of coin to be dropping. So I look for lower prices now, back to the $175 ... and have done more body rubs as well. Not as fun but still gets you excited. I understand they need to make ends meet and all that ... but Supply & Demand ... so there must be both apparently to keep those higher rates.
I have been averaging ~3 every week, not enough time.
