I'm not fully versed at the 10,000 words that are the TER review guidelines like some of you so forgive me in advance for appearing foolish...it wasn't until I had a review unapproved today that I re-read the guidelines again to confirm the admins weren't being totally foolish like they can be.  :-)  Evidently you can't post a review for a provider that doesn't list her name in her ad.  Wow...I find that problematic if you were trying to submit a rip off report or a review of a new provider that is a horses**t waste of time and money.  Evidently all the problem kids in the industry have to do is not post a name in the ad and she and/or her pimp are free from all reviews on this here board.  Thankfully there is an alternative when it comes to TER obstructionist rules...simply PM me until my free days expire and I'll be happy to fill you in on the review that will never see the light of day.  In fact, I may just post a shill for Ms. NoName this Friday or is that against the rules too?  ;-P

It makes no sense to me for the same reason you brought up; it makes it easier for scammers and the like to get away with anything from poor service to blatant rip-offs.

The first lady I tried to review, same deal with no name in the ad. Basically I try not to see any provider with no name in their ads nowadays. Recently though, I have seen a few "unreviewable" ladies. No big deal but I would like to share the info with others when the ladies are subpar.

I ran into that before too.  A lot of the time the Asian agency will run ad w/o name.

hard(er) data lies in the description, phone number, photos...
the name can change tomorrow (and often does).

I'm waiting for TER to start archiving verified photos,
as opposed to the "real photos" check box which is almost meaningless since
a) we can't be sure which photos are meant, and
b) it relies on the provider not changing those photos.

That would improve the value of the profile 100%.

Here's a suggestion:
give each reviewer the option of selecting and uploading to TER one photo from the provider's ad that they consider real and accurate.
Rip-off providers and name changers would have a harder time under those circumstances too.

I've tried to get around that rule with limited success.  If the ad says 'call me please', you could name her 'please'.  Or it could say 'I'm tall and sexy' so name her tall and sexy.  It's worked once or twice anyway.

I have even stopped trying to write reviews because the majority of them get denied for one reason or another. Not going to waste my time for something that is never going to see the light of day anyways
