Just curious if you get a lot towels, how the staff reacts?
If you ever do incall at motel or hotel, how many towel do you get each time?

Is to nab a few off any housekeeping cart I see while the housekeeper is not looking! Lol Then I don't have to ask and they don't notice. Granted I don't use hotels often, and when I do I don't use it to it's fullest extent (IE not back to back all day appointments) so I don't run into this problem often. Just my 2 cents!

In fact...I probably should have read this before posting my own answer! Great minds think alike!
That's actually a really great question! I usually grab a couple extra towels from a housekeeper. They rarely ask for a room number. Generally I only have 1 visitor during my stay so the towels in the room are enough.
I also don't think a person needs to use every single towel available in in only one session( which most certainly happens quite a bit, to me that's kind of excessive and wasteful considering a lot of hotels now are into water and energy conservation. Depending on where you stay you only get like 4 towels at a time/day some place you only get two.
I'd say use no more than one bath towel, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth per person.
I rarely use hotels and when I do I'm mindful of what I'm using so to not annoy housekeeping staff with excessive laundry.
It's not even about what we're doing in the room, you make someone's job harder ( and housekeeping is harder than it looks, they'll probably hate you and say something about it.
