It appears these encounters are FREE, non-compensated activities.  My biggest concern is that a PAID encounter might still be considered a sex act for money & thus a prohibited act under prostitution laws.  
It appears there is not clear cut precedent.  Local laws & minor differences in events can sway the outcome too much to be relied upon.  The implication in many of the cases cited above...  is someone was unhappy with the outcome or injured in some way...

Has it been determined that a BDSM session, even one as simple as spanking, is legal or illegal? I suppose it varies by state, so I'll ask specifically about MA.
