What may be gorgeous to one person may be decent to another... and vice versa. Everyone has different taste, right?

So, do you feel its unfair/fair to label a woman as attractive but yet include She's not gorgeous/top-notch/model material/the Best looking or something between those lines if that person already stated she's good looking?  Im trying to understand why some guys include biased statements considering everyones expectations/perceptions are different. hmmm.

To me beauty is a delicate balance of appearance, attitude, personality, energy, genuineness, and how one carries themselves. And my perspective on all of these facets of beauty will be different then the next person's view.

I really enjoyed reading your reply. Thanks my dear xo

Well put, That's exactly how I perceive it myself. I feel there's a vast amount of variables that make up beauty.

It's unfortunate how small minded some people can be.

As stethdoctor says, it's a balance of many things, and all of them flavored by one's own experience and perspective. One of the great loves of my life was plain if not ugly by conventional standards, but she was always beautiful to me. At a less dramatic level, I'm more likely to be drawn by something quirky, or by a hint of sly humor or great kindness and warmth, than by physical perfection.

Hi
I do believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Attractive women are all over the place. Some are 10 to one while an 8 to another.
Personally, beauty goes beyond skin deep. A beautiful woman radiates her sensual and sexual being. When confidence, respectfulness, and compassion are radiated beauty abounds.

..and I wonder about how well I'd get along with them. Christie Brinkley or Elle Macpherson are beautiful, true. But if one's perception of attractiveness can only align with what the masses are programmed to idealize, I do think that indicates a decreased capacity for original thought. My favorite mates are those who can appreciate a curvy, full figured or melaninated babe as much as whoever would be considered an "all-American," normally attractive, thinner white beauty.
