I'm not a gent, but I might be able to help.

I have a list (a perpetual work-in-progress) here:  http://nolacourtesan.com/links/concierge/

As for walking tours, if you're looking for entertainment and you're willing to define "history" a little more loosely than a university professor might, I'd go with a Haunted History Tour.  They're held at night, there are stops at a few bars, and the tour guides are entertainers in their own right--they tell  the stories with a heavy dose of theatrics, and it works.  I'd recommend this one especially because it's a night tour--summer is brutal here, and the last thing you'll want to do is walk around in the heat. http://www.hauntedhistorytours.com/

There's also a tour that focuses on the world of sex work in NOLA history.  I haven't been on it, but I'm curious, and if you end up doing it, I'd love to hear about it.  The owner of the company is supportive of SWOP and seems really cool:  Madam's of New Orleans: Storyville and Beyond:  http://www.ellatoursneworleans.com/#!madams-of-new-orleans/cff

Hello Sexy Gents,
I will be travelling to New Orleans,  and would love some pointers on good restaurants, sightseeing tours etc.
With gratitude

I'm late to the party but if you're still there, please try the bacon wrapped scallops at Dragos and take a peak inside Trashy Diva on Magazine street! It's one of my favorite lingerie stores and the ladies that work there are awesome :-) If you like sushi, Rock n' Sake is also very good.

I'm definitely going to have to check out the museum next time I visit. Who knew!

Thank you very much :) Have an amazing day xoxo
