Slipry, I just got a couple of text messages from CJ back on Tuesday (right after she was originally supposed to settle).  It was then that she told me that it was postponed to today.  Now it's Friday, and many aren't on the internet much over the weekend.  I would suggest you not be too worried.  My biggest hope is that it DID go forward today, and that things went well.

CJ - GirlinDC and I have left a couple of messages for you - we both hope you are ok and just too busy to return the e-mail and PM's. Please let us know if we can still schedule time with you soon - Thanks

Hey slipry. If I remember correctly CJ is settling on her first home today, hopefully she is just busy with that and all is well with her.

Wow - I remember her posting on that - Well I hope that is why and all things go well for her - it's a tense time where it comes to buying your first home - hell, it's a tense time no matter if it's the 1st or the 5th.

Thanks JC

Hi Charlie,
Congradulations on your new home.

WOW - that is great news sweetie. I'm sure you are sooo excited. We are all very happy for you. Hey, I bet the entire group here would come help you move, paint, do the little things needed when leaving your last place and moving into the new...

So, when is the house warming party - hehehe...

OK, I'll call you later

Oh really....so are you offering????? HAHHAHAHA:)

My offer is limited - I'm now a project manager in my business - I can organize the labor - schedule the work - give direction as required - but offer no assistance in heavy lifting or I would be put out of commission and into hospital due to back problems - heheehe.

But, I am also a carpenter, cabinet maker, tile mechanic, and a few other trades to boot... Now, I can easily hang a picture - plumb and level. Adjust doors and windows too. Now, I can paint and finish - but I really avoid that work and have many who offer rates low enough that I don't have to.

With that said - let me know what I can do to help...

- I made an offer like this once - that's how it is GirlinDC and I got to be friends and are now looking forward to seeing you.
