Check "massage" in the search function, and change the dates to 120 days. Or use the review search function and select the "massage offered" option. Check backpages but be sure and cross reference anyone you're thinking about seeing with TRE or a verification site.

I am only a couple months into the hobby, but I can tell you Vorlon's advice is spot on. The best thing I did for myself was join P411 and purchase a VIP membership on TER. If you can take those two steps, you will have tons of information to help you make the best and safest choice. Good luck.

Vorlon's advice is a great overview. I have a couple additional thoughts I think may help newbies that build upon Vorlon's key points:
7. Questions are good but know when and where and how to ask them. Come off wrong and you'll get put in your place around these parts. Just the way it is I guess. If you haven't clicked every link to every post and review from the last two years or more you aren't doing the newbie thing right. Look, listen, learn. Everything you need to know is probably on this discussion board if you click every link you can. Spend the time. It'll pay off. Then feel free to ask your knowledgeable questions and you will get more knowledgeable responses. Gee...maybe you won't come across as LE as well?
8. This hobby is worse than what you probably deal with at your corporate day job. If you can't deal with the potential of coming across the wickedest of personalities over the long term do yourself a favor and don't start. Personality disorders abound here. Not everything in the hobby is what it seems. There are wonderful highs and crushing lows in this hobby. Don't be naive to that. But it's seriously fun too. 
10. This can't be emphasized enough. It's a fine line to walk away vs the ramifications of cancelling. You should always be nervous going to an appointment or you may not have your game face on. I go to incalls with the best providers I've seen numerous times in the past and always check the situation when I get there. You just never know what's going on. With experience comes the sixth sense of when you need to bail.
