About every six months or so has been massive joint raids by FBI and local police in major cities including Phoenix organized or started by the Cook Cty Ill Sheriff Dept.
In some cities its not the "real" FBI but local police assigned FBI status for the purpose of the raids so can bring federal trafficking charges (if coerced its severe trafficking vs consenting adults just regular trafficking.
They arrest maybe 1000 under the sham of children and trafficking but find only a few under aged and alleged "pimps" which are often just boyfriends, drivers or appointment setters.
It is a huge money scam to get grants and fund the rescue industry like Catholic Charities in Phoenix.
If you have appt setter, driver, 2 gals sharing a phone or incall or massage parlor, agency it is often charged as a criminal enterprise felony with up to 10+ years potentially in prison and a life long felony record

Or, Project Rose choice if first arrest to go do six months of rehabilitation by Catholic Charities group . About every six months Project Rose big weekend 3 day roundups to the "hooker fair" at Bethany Bible Church to be offered the six month rehab to avoid jail since you are deemed a victim since no women would choose sexwork willingly is the attitude.

Yes often done in Phoenix for solicitation if sexual terms used. A jury in Scottsdale years ago convicted an escort solely on GFE on ad and police have used this many times. Reviews are compiled in evidence books also, although would be hard to introduce at trial but usually included in Grand Jury indictments as a reason.
I dont use sexual terms in ads and never say gfe.

With the zillions of ads in Phoenix and other aggressive cities individual risk is low but I know too many that have been arrested. But again you have to offer something sexual directly in ad or on phone.
Just today getting e-mails of cop calls almost for sure in Phoenix, trying to trick companions from saying the wrong thing on calls.
You may have heard this story before but in the Temple bust police report very detailed report of cop laying in bed with a gal but unable to get her to say the wrong thing no matter how hard he tried. Yes. The FBI going to spy on escorts to find sex trafficking victims. The FBI can get involve because escorts are trafficked across state line.

Consenting adults across State lines is Mann act violation of someone hires etc. But using the Internet or phone is interstate bringing in FBI jurisdiction travel not needed. And of course trafficking includes consenting adults with no coercion (if coerced is extreme trafficking).
to be hard ass. Others just pick off the careless in occasional sweeps or stings. You really need to know your local jurisdiction & where they fall in the spectrum. Pheonix is KNOWN for being hard ass.
