END OF MESSAGE

I'd really be interested if I'm the only one out there who is experiencing this.  About 3.5 years ago I had robotic surgery for prostate cancer.  I'm cancer free, which is good, and the equipment doesn't work as well as it used to, but it didn't work all that great before the surgery.  But I can still get hard and get off (I'm reminded of that great Richard Pryor line that when he was young his dick was harder than Chinese arithmetic).  But I'm writing because my orgasms, although dry, have become remarkably intense, much more so than before the surgery.  Sometimes, I have what must be close to the way a woman experiences orgasm.  I feel like I'm coming for a minute or more and then I absolutely explode....still dry of course.  Afterward I'm completely spent, weak in the knees.  Is there anyone else out there who has experienced this?

More don't.  In fact many don't get super hard but do experience a dry orgasm without the stiffie.  Some find it frustrating while others celebrate health and the fact that they are able to orgasm period post surgery.

The ones I see build you up to almost the point of no return, then back off, wait a few moments, and start over.  They do this over about a 12 cycles over the course of 30 minutes or so.  Towards the end, I experience the kind of sensations you describe.

Thanks for posting.

It's good to know that prostate surgery doesn't necessarily mean the end of orgasmic fun

Do not look a gift horse in the mouth. Sounds like you threaded the needle, kudos to the robot.  :-)

I really need to add that the surgery and recovery are no bed of roses.  This is major abdominal surgery dealing with a potentially life-threatening condition and is scary as hell!  It takes months and months to recover and getting any action back in Mr. Johnson takes even longer.  At one time I was using injection therapy, that's right, injecting your Johnson with a syringe full of stuff that will make you hard as steel....and may not go away soon.  But things do improve and I'm happy with my functionality, and of course being cancer free.

Trust me, no one wants this surgery.

Thanks fo the good news . I posted previously about my prostate cancer and will be going in for the robotic surgery next month.  While awaiting this I am getting all the use I can out of the old gland; seeing my favorites for what could be the last time. They have all been very encouraging with stories about clients who have had prostatectomy and came back to function well.  They are also quite willing to supply the necessary stimulation.  I am grateful for their support.

I would suggest doing prostate play and stimulation while you can.  Its really good and you'll never be able to experience it post-op.  One of my regrets.

Hey Smiley, good luck with this.  Although I got great care at Dana-Farber and Brigham and Women's I don't feel like anyone ever prepared me for the worst.  I really wish I had known, it might have freaked me out more but at least I wouldn't have been flying blind.  Let me know if you want any of this input.  I don't want you to be sweating bullets leading up to the surgery, it's bad enough as is.  But if you want the input send me an e-mail address in a PM.  I'm VIP for a little while, until I submit another review.

What you describe is the exact same situation that I am in post surgery about 10 months. O's are definitely more intense.
