Thanks for you post.  You are correct.  I for one don't give a shit about warning all you reviewers about a rip off ever again.  Been there, done that, listened to the rehearsed comments about sticking with this or that or the other.  My favorite buddy Wad (may his voice rest in peace) gave me the business.  Love the guy now but I got the not so subtle hint from the "community".  Shut your mouth.  Some hobby for the variety and every provider starts somewhere and often that place is BP.  It's evil...but not as evil as the status quo wants you to believe.  Ever had a great sensual massage?  If she's even remotely new I bet you saw her first on BP.  Even with your best efforts sometimes an appointment goes to shit.  Don't forget a highly reviewed provider who was outed as ripping off clients when it comes to hotel room charges...I won't.  Chances are that same train wreck will happen again some day.

Anyone else think this board is hostile to everything except carbon copy Friday shills.  You never hear anyone bitching about those do ya?

There seems to be a trend developing on this board. When someone posts a warning about a provider who ripped him off in some fashion, one or more posts respond by making fun of the OP for his 'foolishness.' Foolish to use backpage, foolish to have outcall to his home, foolish to go to that part of town, foolish to take whatever risk it was that brought him down. The guy is coming to the board to post useful information and we are ridiculing him. I mean, given that he is posting a warning, he probably already has some grasp on whatever mistakes he may have made. But in any case, isn't the important fact that the provider is bad news?

Sometimes, less frequently, someone says 'Thank you' which seems a whole lot more productive.

Does anyone ... anyone? ... think it is going to encourage more people to post warnings if we make fun of them when they do?

Just curious. I don't swim in those waters so for me the question is academic.

the recent exchange on Harmony seems tame.

What can one do with a ripoff report?
-damn the evil robber (ok but self evident)
-offer sympathy to the guy who got robbed (ok but not helpful)
-try to clarify what went wrong and the consequences so that we can all learn something.
My post on harmony, for example, focused on the risk of this kind of TOFTT. I did not think about how this robber could be using outcall visits for casing a place.  Another person pointed out how she had been given the opportunity to evaluate security, how many people live there, the quality of electronics etc.  This explains the matter far better than a failed TOFTT which is how the review describes it.

While Friday Shill threads themselves are drama free because TER strictly prohibits attacks or negative comments to be posted on them I do recall several occasions when some putz had to get in a dig here & there. Of course the comments were removed in a flash but attempts were made just the same.

There have been threads "bitching" about Friday Shill though so yes indeed Wongbater, I have seen it happen here. There is no topic on earth that can't be turned into a trainwreck if someone is on a mission to get one going.

Sadly I agree with the post you referenced. Only lets take it down from a dozen to a handful.  I have occasionally shilled someone "out of the box" and it's time the rest of you do too.  Otherwise what's the point?  You can't disagree with my logic Ms Chayse.

I'm not disagreeing at all. Just saying If someone's on a mission to start a train wreak they will do so no matter what the topic. Whether or not they succeed depends on how people chose to respond. Unfortunately many have simply chosen not to participate at all or with far less frequency.

Seems like the Hatfields and the McCoys at times with the same group attacking the same people no matter what the topic is.

chills seem overrated. It is always the same girls with the same guys doing it every week. It would be nice to give some love to someone out of the box like I did to Britney last week.
Most of us have probably had our share of trouble or drama with highly reviewed providers. You just don't post it on the boards because that is where you get all the haters. That is when you get your advice from other areas.

To this post, I agree wholeheartly!

Once upon a time, I was pretty active in the hobby, and this board
I had well over 100 reviews posted under a different handle. the majority of those I had contact with, were positive.  as a rule, I generally got along with most of the individuals in the community.

There were a few providers with whom, I would term Bat Shit Crazy! and a few guys who were full of shit. LOL
I am also guilty of shilling for one particular
provider, and as it turns out, I got nothing but grief from her, and when I outed her BSC on the board,
the white knights swooped in to defend their damsel in distress. I wonder what they got for their time and effort. LOL

Now that years have passed, I can look back, and see just how mentally twisted and unstable she is, as well as how jaded her white knights were.
To her credit, she was an excellent fuck, but beyond that, she became a real pain in the ass, and her bullshit, quickly became to much to deal with.
I can only guess, that is why she crawled back under a rock, or went back to Egypt never to be heard from again. LOL
Karma caught up with her. LOL

I still see that much of the hate and anger from the past, is still present on the board today as well. This I don't need nor miss in my life.

Post in support of posters who bring these things up.  No, it won't stop the name-calling some people love to do but it can make it clear that many of us appreciate the warnings others give.
