The sense of accomplishment one gets after completing an arduous task? Seeing the unbridled joy expressed by a dog glad to see you? That first, crisp and cool splash of iced tea on the palate during a sweltering summer's day? Touching down on foreign ground at the beginning of an adventure to an exotic locale? Finishing a good read and wishing that there were simply more? Or, hell, knowing the love of and spending time in the presence of someone to whom the only cost-of-entry was time? Heh.

There's a big, complex world out there, hombre, and it's complexity is replete with various nooks and crannies full of the sublime. Confining your pleasure to such a narrow strip of it seems a waste...
