I'm going to give you my straight up opinion on your post.  If a NCNS is the worst experience you've had consider yourself fortunate.  Spend decades in the hobby like some of us and you'll have some really fun stories to share.  My advice when the scenario you painted happens again, and it will, is call another provider when the first one is an obvious no show. There's always someone out there who will take your appointment request unless the issue is you. (Since you leave out HER name we will never get a chance for HER to weigh in)

I'm sure the providers reading your post don't appreciate your apology for not posting reviews nearly as much as us fellow reviewers. Your story doesn't hold nearly the weight it would if you'd spent the last year and a half posting your experiences in review form for the benefit of us all.  

Final thought...with so many similar woe is me stories posted lately I'm not going to even bother to speculate who this mystery provider is that you want to publicly trash.  The passive/aggressive approach is getting old.  If you really have an issue to air then name names. I'm of the opinion that coming on here is a final nuclear option for the sort of interpersonal problems we in the hobby face. If you get ripped off post it. If you got robbed please post it. If you got caught up in a sting of course share. If you got stood up, well, suck it up and move on.  No post needed.
