By that argument, LE would ask me what her name is. The possibility of blackmail is one of the reasons not to give your real name. References take care of the safety side of things.

Smart providers who value their safety and more importantly, their lives, accept real world information only. Absolutely nothing less under any circumstance
How is a bad client going to get references from reputable providers?
It's better to turn down a client then risk being killed..or beaten...girls have reviews...clients do not...and taking the word of another escort is worthless..she could have been compromised...she is not there at the time of the appointment and so how can a new girl know that this person is the same person that the previous girl saw?

I don't know any reputable providers that don't require full name. How else are we supposed to check your references and make sure that it's actually you showing up at the door?

If a provider dares not give a client an okay, she risks being blacklisted and chastised.

People have had bad experiences giving their real name. Your real name and city you live can easily give the provider your home address. Enough said
The only people would see this as a threat are the ones who have the intention to harm or steal from the provider. Reputable providers are professionals. We could careless for your home address etc.. We only as for your full name so we can confirm who it is we are meeting. That's all.
l don't understand the discomfort, wouldn't you rather see a provider that is professional and safe oppose to one who'll just see anyone?
I am speaking from experience. This was a "professional" lady with reviews and verification till she turned unprofessional and got me into trouble.
To prevent the fall out of when a "professional" turns unprofessional we don't want to give personal data. You have TER, P411, Date-Check to anonymously verify clients.
I don't expect gals to give their real names. And when I don't get the same courtesy I move on.

I think there's that bit of terror in all of us for different reasons. You really can't trust everyone
The thing that "gets" me is when someone directly contacts a provider for the purposes of bullying her into doing lesser screening than she is comfortable with. That does happen a lot, and it's a red flag. I can't imagine it would be acceptable for me to have "fort knox" set up, and to PM/DM/email random people expecting them to undergo my screening either.
That's not what we are talking about here, of course...
Some people specifically seek out and feel safe with providers with tough screening processes, which is also a nice thing to help us narrow down our clientele. It also can help consumers narrow down the provider they want to choose.
I can't imagine it is easy to choose with the enormous amount of escorts nowadays - so looking on the bright side, this is a great way to help clients choose, right? lol. Not all providers can handle every client who wants to see them. Gosh, that would be a lot of dicks. lol!
