just not the right place and method of sharing intel.

I didn't see the unedited post, but understand why it was edited.  Besides linking to TER's competiton always a no-no, you could have linked to here TER profile, assuming there is one.  However, this type of info really belongs on the regional boards where she worked.

I was on [review web site name removed by moderator] under hobbyist and saw a thread regarding [provider name removed by moderator]

[review web site link removed by moderator]

I thought every hobbyist should be aware and notified of any possible discussion of disease. Am I doing the right thing or should I keep quiet? I tried to let TER deal with this, but I'm uncertain of what was done.

...where do you go for that kind of information? As a complete newb (hobbyist virgin in fact), that is information I would like to know.

I am under the impression that TER is not, allowing hobbyist insight to who has what?  In retrospect if a provider has an S.T.D. I want to know period..No edits or thread removed.  It is doing us a favor as well as other people who don't use this tool.  I am not trying to attract herpes or other nastiness..I am Diease and Drug Free so please from now on lets keep it clean MODERATORS!

IMPORTANT COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT:

ASIC81 has AIDS, HERPES, and HEP-C,
and should be avoided at all costs!!
I have proof - contact me for details.

Now, just because it was posted on a message board, doesn't make it so.  And to allow people to make such allegations without proof could be very damaging.  Get the point?

Thanks for your understanding regarding TER's policy in such matters.

[disclaimer:  the message above about ASIC81 is totally false and was posted merely as an example of a potentially unfounded and damaging accusation]

I absolutely agree with you and that is why I tried to do this discretely. However, we live in a world of demented people who will knowingly spread a disease just for material gain.
I purposely phrased my intial post as "possible diseased provider" to encourage further investigation. The last thing I would want to do is destroy a provider's business.
Perhaps this might be niche area for providers and hobbyist that are infected and would still like companionship. If each knows the other has, let's say, Hep C, why can't they enjoy each other. Just a thought. They can have their own Hep C ranch like the bunny ranch. LOL

... would be to post a message on the provider's regional board that states for people to contact you via PM for information regarding a potential health risk.

That way, only those people who are actually interested will gain access to the info, and you will not be guilty of dispensing potentially damaging information on a public forum of which you have no proof.

This is especially prudent in your case, since you do not have first-hand knowledge of the alleged health risk.  By discretely pointing people to the source of the allegations, they can make their own decision regarding the validity of the info.

I would also like to know if someone has a disease. I think it is not only a moral/ethical obligation to fellow hobbyist, but just the right thing to do.
I'm in San Diego and this provider works here and Los Angeles. If she tells one hobbyist and he shares the information, how is that spreading a rumor?
On TER review of providers one question ask; blow job? responses are no; yes without condom; and yes with condom. Why under the question Lick Pussy? there is only yes or no?
The options should be, in my opinion, no; yes with dental dam; yes without dental dam. You would be amazed how many providers are unaware of what a dental dam is. TER please look into adding that response to that question.
I am willing to take the risk for the pleasure, but I want everyone to be safe and aware.
