and I mean like a football game crowded. Parking should be a fun to.

But I would say do the Salem witch museum

Peabody Essex Museum

Other things to see
Pickering Wharf
New England Pirate Museum

Plenty of shop that deal with the occult, walk around and you will find them.

Also great seafood restaurants.

Oh and plan on see plenty of people dressed up

Spending a weekend with a lovely young lady from out of town, since we can't stay in bed all day
And since she's always wanted to see what's in Salem during Halloween, I figured I'd take her

The thing is I've never been and I'm not sure where to start, just looking for tips from the board, looking to take her on Friday during the day

I don't know where you're coming from but my suggestion would definitely be to take the train from North Station, Newburyport/Rockport line because  it gets backed up from the highway (128 north) and parking can take over an hour. Many streets are blocked off, insanity traffic. Plus I'm not sure if Salem will be free on the commuter rail this weekend or just Halloween.... well just a suggestion, have fun !

Thank you so much

Is all of this downtown?
I'm looking to take the train from north station in Boston

Most will be downtown, anything else might be a short taxi or Uber/lyft ride

Big thanks to everyone for pointing me in the right direction

A couple of good new exhibits.

One of my favorite places !
So much fun!
Good food, great for people watching , and the exhibits are pretty cool.
