If you requested certain services over the phone, the police can arrest you. If you call an fake agency and ask for BJs, full services, etc. and the operator is a sting operator, you can get arrested. The police can come to your door and arrest you.
It would seem sensible that LE attaches various values, and priorities to the potential violations they expect to find in progress or during their enforcement efforts.
It would therefore seem reasonable imo, that based on these values, or priorities, in addition to the ongoing need to produce tangible or measurable results from their efforts, some activities could be determined more, or less risk prone than others. As such, wouldn't limiting one's personal active involvement to accepting outcalls to their private residence, present considerably less LE associated risk to the residing hobbiest?

Yes, I think incalls are slightly less risky for clients for LE. In general I don't think LE would want to try to set up a 'sting' for just one guy at his place of residence. It does seem like they try to get the guys to show up where they have everything in place.
The flip side is that incalls cost more, and you end up giving out your address. I think this last one could be a big deal. She might seem trustworthy now, but she could change later, or she might just let it 'slip out' to some unsavory characters how much valuable stuff you have laying around, etc..
Also for some it isn't possible at all.

...or the male friend "driver", hanging out in the car out front , that seems more like its parked on the living room sofa.
Don't bring a Lady to your home? Giving out your address isn't the way to do anything.
Smart money is to get a nice room. Pay for it in cash under an Alias. When asked for a credit card for incidental provide a prepaid Visa or MasterCard.
Have the lady do a Outcall to a hotel room you have secured in an area you are comfortable. Run your security check. Meet her in the bar. As her up to the room. Never discuss donation or present anything in public.
See well reviewed ladies and insure that the reviewer are well known.
Be smart about how you hobby.
Police department aren't going to risk the safety of their assets by placing them in a room where they have no way insuring the Officers safety.
I have never heard of one sting where an Officer has done Outcall. Incall, yes. Street Walker, yes but never Outcall.
Outcall Bust do happen. I remember a few years ago a well know NBA Player was busted after meeting an escort in his hotel room in a major US City. He had called an escort service for an outcall appointment at his hotel before the game that night.
It is not illegal to book an outcall appointment with an escort. If the lady comes to your home, it is not a criminal offense. It is not a crime to pay an escort for companionship.

I can't claim I wouldn't be at some disadvantage in an outcall setting at my residence, perhaps I overestimated what a well reviewed provider, of substantiated reviewers, is still seriously capable of
