Somehow I have a feeling that escorts aren't always going to be able to command the kind of money they are getting now, and that something will come along to disrupt in much the same way that Uber disrupted traditional transportation modes. Any thoughts as to what that might be? Backpage has been with us longer than Uber has, so it can't be that.

    I heard that 10+ years ago girls were making 15-20k a month and didn't even have to travel. I've never even made 10k in one month, unless I traveled . In MY experience and from the girls I've talked to, this industry is already declining pretty rapidly, but nobody can really pinpoint as to why.  
Id guess that there are a TON more girls doing this now than 10-15 years ago, a lot of people just can't afford it, stings scare people away, or they are doing the sugar dating thing instead. I'm actually looking into that as well for some stability, so maybe sugar dating, if anything.  
I don't think anything can replace a real woman, though, in that sense. If an escort is giving you something that holds the most value to her, I think we will be able to "command" as much as we want for as long as this industry exists.😊 Well, at least until its legalized...then I'm sure there will be some kind of an app to order an escort/screen automatically. So yes, probably when it's legalized a lottt will change, but until then I really don't think so.

Interesting comment as I would have thought with technology, review boards, etc you would be able to make more money not less.  Before we all had the ability to verify each other I think the only way you would be able to connect in a safe way was through trusted madams, and they probably command a lot of money for discretion (just ask Elliott Spitzer).

With all of the tools available I would think you ladies could bypass the agency and keep more of the money.  Maybe this activity is safer and you have more competition?

I'm not sure but I'm guessing over time it will go higher like everything else the all mighty dollar can't buy what it use too. Inflation I just see it getting worse. The only way I see it changing is if they ever decide to legalize escorting. I'm guessing that would flood the market with new providers which I think would drop the demand due to more supply! If I was a gambling man and pussy was a stock I would buy buy buy!

Those taxi drivers know their way around the city. There is nothing like being in the car with an aggressive, asshole driver when you need to get somewhere asap. ;)

Also nothing like being in a taxi when one of those aggressive, asshole drivers turns their rage on you for an imagined slight - such as refusing to give your credit card to them to fiddle with unsafely while they are driving. I've been there and it isn't pretty. Which is not to cast aspersions on taxi drivers in general, with whom I've had overwhelmingly positive interactions. And I don't know about your neighborhood, but in mine Lyft has figured out how to replace lengthy and unpredictable waits with reliably brief ones.
