Fogo de Chao
645 Hennepin Ave Minneapolis MN 55402

Brazilian steakhouse. The waiters come to the table with swords of skewered meats and cut them off onto your plate.  Steak, lamb, chicken, pork.   They have a a kickass salad bar too (with more than just salad; there is cold salmon, cheeses, meats, etc).  Lunch is $32.50 and dinner is $49.50 but it is all you can eat.  I recommend hardly eating anything for a day and then the next day go to Fogo de Chao and binge.  It is a classy environment, the staff is super attentive, the food is redonkulous, and it makes a fun occasion.

Hi guys, any recommendations on places to eat downtown Minneapolis? Great food and nice ambiance are my criteria ;-)
Thanks!!!

I live down there and if you want to pm me with questions I would be glad to help.

and if you have good company, and are maybe a bit of a gourmet, then the Bachelor Farmer is hard to beat.

Meriden, formerly Chambers hotel. Great menu, California inspired, wait staff awesome and a nice fireplace. Right on Hennepin Ave near the theatres.

Enjoy!
