The lady in question was a 'homeless' person who had been panhandling on a major street; it seems she was also getting into gentlemen's cars, going to a secluded area and performing oral sex for a fee. Guess she wasn't making enough panhandling.
Men were being observed taking her in their cars, then dropping her off a while later, that's what sparked the arrest
where the Prividers were street walking. I was surprised in the internet age but apparently despirate tiimes & despirate measures.
In July Operation Cross Country resulted in sending 8500 cops to 101 cites and arresting over 1000 providers. They also caught 165 teenagers, most who had runaway from foster homes and had not been reported missing by the dept of children services. They also arrested 281 pimps.
A week later the arrested over 500 clients, 150 for just the Phoenix area, as they are now claiming that the women are all victims, yet 2 weeks before they were arresting the women too.

But there is good news too. The erotic service provider legal education and research project did raise the 30,000 they needed to file the US constitutional challenge on prostitution laws between consenting adults. Once they collect the money from gofundme and pay the attorney the case will be filed and it will become international news. They do have a disabled client that will be one of the plaintiffs, as they do not want to see the end the demand campaign win in the US.
